STRATEGY OF CULTURALHEALING

My mission is protection of contemporary artistic production from utalitarian cultural politics of imposed by polititians on power.  

The contextual framework of my projects is a perverted feminist encounter of cultural stereotypes and approaches on the subjects denoted as feminine and the Other regarding the power position or the politics of the main stream. Thus is reflected in taking over the clichés of the main stream which, on the other hand are being subverted.

All projects of mine are strategies for healing the culture. In a milieu of post socialist country in which I live, the art as well is marginalized profession.

As an emerging artist from the country in the economic, ethnical and transitional problems, I faced deeply traumatic society with restricted cultural policy, abundant in triviality and scary mass media pornography and kitsch production, which influenced my conceptual orientation: artist's self positioning.

In the spirit of relational aesthetics, I arranged different forms of registration performances with coupons and donations. Audience was obliged to bring and take the gift, to give the donation, or to have the possibility to qualify as a sponsor and take a part in the project. The audience was involved in the production of the event.

The idea of registration of the audience was led by the lack of communication which I experienced among the audience, critics and me.

To receive the feed back turned into the the control of the audience which i intend to develop nowadays using new technologies.

In the last few works I examined economic and social position of the artist and art production, ambiguously playing with the structure of the Mass Media Communication and the Authority. Overtaking the strategy of the marketing companies in the self promotion purposes, I form pseudo marketing projects, presenting as an independent artist organization Brandch Service, ACM (anti curatorial movement) or Smartie, a society for intelligent communications.
