Healing Acquarium

Healing Acquarium is an audio visual installation which has the idea to involve public in the work enabling them to become a vivid chanel between Elements composed into the object of acquarium.

The project Healing Acquarium is based on theory of using coloros and plants in so called Aroma and Color Therapy. The idea is to use 4 elements: Eart (plants), Air -Communication, Sound system, Fire (Colors of Rainbow (lights and PVC folias and burning buiscquits and rope-kandilo), and Water (with oil which provides burning of the rope-candel) which all together have to stimulate our nerve system and sences to become more sensitive with surrounding and ourselves as well as to become calm and meditative.

Plants of different origine used in traditional healing, brought from mountains of Serbia and Montenegro, are going to be on the top of the water, cut in pieces and therfore able to flote easelly. Air -Communication, Sound system, is to use interface which combines devices of human voice and pipe system which is tuned into the water which is effected by the voices. W ater proof sound box should be made in plastics, but front panel is made from thin plastic that transmits the information /voices. Dynamic is connected to this by glue, this panel trembles and sends sound wave from dynamic right to water. Fire -Colors, transparent PVC folias are going to be mounted on the surface of acquarius in 3 basic colors which by moving of the audiance around the object change and enables us to see through the object but from different point of view on each step we make. Red, Yellow, Blue are set one afher the other in pieces of 30 cm lenght.and 70 cm heigh. In the edges of this color composition I plan to make a decorative floral line of 10 cm . In the water , I am going to use so called Kandilo, a system used in Ortodox Religion when they make a fire in small ceramic pots with burning buiscquits and rope due to the soul of the recentlly passed persons. This system which combine water and oil enables long term of burning in the water and it is compleatlly safe. Some electric light could be set on the bottom of the acquarium to enhlight the object during the evenig.
